1963
Raymond L. Brown (Ringwood) Limited was established on 5 April 1963. The company name was later changed to Raymond Brown Ltd in 1993.
1983
Raymond L. Brown (Construction) Limited is established was a civil engineering company. The name was later changed to Raymond Brown Construction Ltd
1994
Raymond Brown Ltd acquired R K Eggleton (Thatcham) Ltd to service the £6m Greenham Park contract which included the demolition of runways and buildings along with concrete crushing and remediation.
1999
The Rookery Farm landfill site was acquired and later transformed into an Aggregates Recycling Facility.
2002
A contract with Sita was secured for the extraction of minerals at Binnegar Quarry in Dorset.
2007
All aggregates, crushing and recycling businesses merged into Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd.
The first contract for IBA processing was signed.
2008
The A303 Enviropark site was acquired which led to the construction of the Materials Recovery Facility.
2010
A management buyout was completed and Raymond Brown Group Ltd was formed, comprising of the following businesses:

Raymond Brown Construction Ltd
Raymond Brown Building Ltd
Wilkins Builders Ltd
2010 – 2015
Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd developed further quarries, recycling centres and IBA facilities as the business expanded.
Following the growth and subsequent appointment of a number of new employees, the business established its own head office in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
2016
Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd underwent a management buyout from the existing Raymond Brown Group with investment partners, Elysian Capital LLP.
This resulted in Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd’s separation from the other Raymond Brown businesses.
2016
Four business units were established within Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling Ltd:
Raymond Brown Quarry Products
Fortis IBA
Raymond Brown Distribution
Raymond Brown Waste Solutions
2017
The Quarry Products and Fortis IBA divisions were established as private limited companies;
Raymond Brown Quarry Products Ltd
Fortis IBA Ltd
Raymond Brown Waste Solutions and Raymond Brown Distribution divisions remain as business units.
2019
Collard Group Ltd completed the acquisition of the Raymond Brown Waste Solutions Ltd business on 18th October.
Raymond Brown Group will focus on growing its Quarry Products and Fortis IBA divisions both of which have had recent success in securing new reserves and contracts.
